Symantec Class Action Suit over upgrade offers…

Bobembossed One of the things that we always noticed about Symantec was that they would terminate a subscription license to the date of the renewal without crediting the customer’s account. This is why we always very carefully coincided our subscription renewals with the date of the current subscription’s expiration. Most companies out there play the game right but Symantec seemed to play this part of the business a little loose. Just another reason we look at multiple vendor choices for our customers.

The Conficker attack that never was!

Bobembossed With all the hoopla revolving around the April 1 Conficker Worm attack I really thought we would see a lot of damage. There was such a racket made by all media sources who didn't seem to take in account that our systems are better protected than they were in prior years. In fact, there appear to be a non-event with this particular Malware problem. Of course we don't want to complain about the fact that there was a problem but wasn't it great to see that awareness was much higher and that he took better care of our systems than we have in the past. Kudos to all of you.
